PF has gone downhill massively, the writing seems flat and strung out to fill space, rather than filled with facts, figures and technical info (just take the S1 4x4 cossie feature, great car done a huge injustice by incredibly poor writing)

That said, it would be nice for either mag to do write ups on how the cars they feature drive, like EVO does. It is next level in terms of writing ability (just look at the names, 'henry catchpole' springs to mind, if that isnt a public school educated fop then I'm the dali lama ) but it is nevertheless entertaining, and a brilliant read.

Would be nice to see either of the ford mags doing something similar.

Oh, and PF: The DORF? Please, just stop it. It's embarrasing. At least the name "stig" came from somewhere, it has a back story (which is part of what makes it interesting) not just a bad rearrangement of the word ford.
i said that abotu a year ago mate and was torn to bits for ever suggesting that it was the case (although there were other bits as well )

a lot of peeple have since been "reararnged" at pf and i'm still considering buying a copy at some stage to see if it is as good as they say it is

i'd like to think so as, currently, ff is leagues ahead of what pf used to be like

in fact, if i can't find a copy of redline in the shops today, i'll spend that money on pf, although don't blame me if i come back here and start bitching if it's not as good as you say it is
