Default Light Scratches

I have just bought a second hand 53 plate merc in a metallic green colour, It shines fantastically but there is a problem.

On the passenger rear door, front wing and bootlid there are areas of light scratches. These are confined to patches of about 4 inches.

They look like someone has tried to scour marks off the car scratching the laquer underneath and making it go dull.

i am no quality polisher. All i have done is washed the car then tried to use T Cut on the areas nd then wax with zymol i bought from halfords.

Has made it slightly better but its still well noticeable in the right light.

Any help would be great as its a 10K car and is going to put people off looking at it.

If i have to get the panels or car detailed/machine polished then i will

Cheers guys

Rob
