Yeah - he had already sent the V5 away to get his cherished plate retained. So all he had was a photocopy of the V5 and it was only the far outside covers, not the inside details. The name on the V5 photcopy was not his name, nor shared the same second name as him. Just feels a bit strange. I didn't think you could buy a car from someone, if their name was not on the log book?!
