Default dizzy jackshaft problems help!!!!

hi just finished rebuilding my motor after my old block chucked the towel in (205)
in a nutshell finished putting it all together ,only to find that the distributor doesnt sit all the way flush to the block

and it gets worse , when i try to thighten the locking bolt for the dizzy it binds the aux wheel up tight ??
free it off a little and the aux wheel spins free but obviously then will eventually rotate the dizzy and fook everything up
now have took it all back apart to check and everything looks ok ... aux wheel does have a little play when rotating it .but only minute

dizzy cog looks fine as does the jackshaft and bearing

anyone got any ideas as im lost have bought a new jackshaft assbly and am now waiting for it to come !!

anyone seen this before ???

cheers for any suggestions car been garaged for last 2 yrs and now want it out
