A certain thread on here earlier got me thinking about how in the past you may have either read or known someone that has claimed something and you've found out later that it's TOTAL bullshit and they are a complusive liar.
I'm not talking about "white" lies, or exxageration, but BIG made up complete fabrications with detail!

Pour example!

When i was younger I knew this guy, he was mates with us and was in our group of friends so to speak, anyway he was in the Marines, was always away and had all the special gear, marine tatoos and even some guns and he was a BIG fucker. Didn't see this person that often, say maybe once a month or so, they used to just appear after being "away" etc.... Anyway when home once they got pulled driving one night, claimed it was all above board etc etc... later transpired that he had no licence, ever......... So after that we began to dig a little deeper an expose the fact that this person was infact not in the armed forces at all,never had been, and the guns turned out to be deactivated or whatever.
To this day it just amazes me why people ever feel the need or emptiness in their lives to make up such elaborate lies. I think deep deep down we all suspected little snippets of exxageration but not that his WHOLE LIFE was made up.
