However i think you may be onto something with the airleak. Seeing as it has new plugs, leads, coil, and the dizzy is only 2500 miles old im sure i can overule them.
But i just checked my boost gauge and when the car is running down the vacuum pressure is 27. yet on tick over its about 12. im pretty sure it used to be much higher then that, gonna have a look 2moro for any hissing on tick over. see if any pipes are loose or have split sucking in too much air.
