bathurst 87 was basically a big shit storm..

to cut a very long story short all the teams were told by CAMS (the aussie version of the msa) a few months before to put there cars right before they arrived at the mountain. most of the teams didnt think CAMS would go through with it as they had the weight of the FIA behind them and expected CAMS to turn a blind eye like all the other local govening bodies had running wtcc races up to this event.

CAMS kept to there word and kicked the burger cars out of 1st and 2nd resulting in a win for local hero brocky in a holden.. if they didnt get them on the arches they had suspected illegal fuel in reserve too..

all this also resulted in djr bringing a car to the 88tt at silverstone as revenge and blowing everyone away on outright speed..
