I do it as a hobby for myself (I work in IT), it costs from about 2k to restore a car but a restored MK1 is worth from 4k upwards depending on rarity, age, condition etc

This one will cost a little more to do due to the modifications that are planned and the fact KAD parts are very expensive, but I expect it to be valued about 5-6k once completed
