i am thinking of doing exactly that, but not sure it's something i want to get into. especially if there is not all that much work out there right now.
i already have quite a lot of knowledge from other qualifications (mechanical engineering degree) and have been a wireman making standby generator cabinets in my time, and more recently have been installing, servicing and fault finding air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and cold rooms with both single and 3 phase wiring.
i think i can handle a mega or a multimeter having run a wind tunnel where i used to measure 500 electrical things several times a second
