ALL cars have taken a whack in the last 6 months. The fact is though that a limited run car like the RS will retain decent value in comparision to a bogo mass produced bass model.
it will aslo have its followers who will want a tidy example - those people don't care about evo's scoobs etc etc, why do we still have escossy selling for 10k plus? or rs500 ? because people want them - they wont care a bout the new rs as it will be the mk1 they like for what ever reason.
In years to come frs's will be going through at a few grand, but will be nails, low milers in mint original condition will still be fetching 6,7,8k , just like S1 turbos range from 1k up to 10k and one at the moment is 17k
Problem is, can you afford to keep a car in cotton wool to maintain it's value and would you want to?
