I was born with my bottom 3 vertebrae missing in my spine, so my nerve was un-protected. As a result it attatched itself to a bone at the bottom of my back.

Not a problem when your little, but as you grow your nerve moves up. Eventually it would of snapped. So they untangled it and moved it up. Thankfuly it worked or I wouldn't be able to walk!

Always remember the first night after the surgery, had 3 drips (2 morphine and one food), and the pain was on another level still.

After a while not been alowed to move very much I had to learn to walk again.

No pics, but they stapled my back togther, I really enjoyed having those removed
