Hi all,

I know this is a Ford Forum etc. but I did have an RST and was wondering if one of the BMW 'boys' could help me out.

I've just purchased an E36 97 M3 Evo and the sodding low oil level light has just come on, it flashes 9 times on start up and goes out!

I've obviously checked the oil level on the dipstick and its spot on (full up)

Anybody got any other ideas what it could be, possibly oil level sensor - if so, anybody know where it is?
Any help would be much appreciated.
