I got the £100 Halfords Pro set in the end; as said it's a good starter kit and he can add to it as and when he needs it!

I gave it to him this morning and he's made a prompt start by borrowing some breaker bars and is now attacking the front hub on my Volvo runabout which needs replacing

I could get used to it!
