The £100 quoted is for a cubic meter not square meter. To make a cubic meter of concrete you will need approx 2 tonnes of ballast and 10 bags of cement. A 30 square meter base at 100mm thick is 30 x .100 = 3 cubic meters

So now you know that you would need 6 tonnes of ballast and 30 cement as a rough guide,I can mix this by hand and be in the pub by lunch on my own!!

Let me know if you want a price.
when we concreted our first garage, it was a bit of land approx 18 feet by 22 feet and, when it was mixed up etc, we ended up needing 6 yards of concrete as we originally had 4 yards and that wasn't enough

when we did the other bit of concreting, some of it was up to 14 inches deep when we had to get it levelled out and we used another 2 lots of 3 yards to do an 18 x 18 foot section

but yes, if he's after 3metres cubed then you can do it, if you are fit and healthy in about a day mixed and layed from what i've seen without a concrete mixer to help out
