drive shaft problem
hi there can anyone out there shine some light on my horrible situation?
i have a mk 5 xr3i convertable cosworth , it has had a rs turbo conversion done (not by me) a couple of weeks ago my wishbones gave way and the driveshaft poped out of the passanger / gearbox side and it is completely distroyed in the knucle i have replaced wishbones not a problem normal escort ones ,the problem i have is i carnt find a driveshaft that will fit they are too short the one that came out had a shim on it behind the hub as that seems too of been to short as well but it was ok untill the wishbones went ,my car has rs 2000 running gear and escort cosworth front hubs to bring the wheels out to meet the kit and a diesil gearbox can anyone please tell me what driveshaft will fit ?
