She paid market price for it really - so she'll be down over £20k! A massive lesson to be learned from this. Still can't believe she would've bought a car for that sum without ever seeing it!

The story was fairly common for up here - a lot of high end motors are sold on behalf of people as the owner works abroad due to the Oil. I guess that's one reason why she was more comfortable with doing the deal.
