Borewash on a std car would be most unlikley, but not beyond the bounds of possibility if very badly set up.... How much oil are you using, as the YB does use oil, the handbook quotes upto 1 litre every 690 miles! Also what grade oil are you using?
Does smell quite petrolley, especcially if i drive with the window open... could possibly be rich as hell....
i'm using about a litre every 600/700 miles, i thought the handbook quoted 1ltr every 1000 miles (haven't got an owners handbook)... so that could be a good sign!!
