Whilst the G220 has proved itself as being a more than capable machine performane wise, its reliability record is appalling! If you knew the number of members on Detailing World who have had theirs go tits up and had to send it back you'd never buy one. We had a fairly long period not so long ago where there was a new case of one breaking being posted up almost every day.
They addressed some of the issues with the revised second generation machine but I'm still reading about people having problems with theirs.
The Kestrel DAS-6 seems to be fairing much better with its reliability.
There are cheaper DA alternatives though as well, you just have to think outside the box a little and away from things that have a detailing brand name on them
