AS above, trouble with compy test is it only tests compression rings, and the oil control rings are normally the first to go, so it can have shagged oil rings allowing oil past but ace compression just like my 160,000+ bottom end(doing it this year!!), even does regular RR work at that mileage no problem.
I would first check the breather system is totally unclogged, then possibly if not doing
so use a thicker oil such as a 50 or 60 weight.
Any more than about 60,000 generally and the head is worn to some extent especially guides.
I assume there is no step seal in your turbo, or drilled ring as this keeps a bit of prerssure there to stop oil burninmg as they don't have a seal in the normal way.
