Im not sure if he gets ovetime for working past his normal hours, but i think there is some law about if you work 12 hours you need 12 hours before you work another 12 hour shift. I might be wrong tho and that might just be RAC policy thing or something
They do say that you cant work longer than 12 hours but tbh none of my shifts are never rostered any longer than 9.5 to 10 hours long.
That doesnt include driving to and from your sign on/off location though.
