but it's a fairly sensible job, just make sure that you don't answer the phone in the last 10 minutes of your shift, because apaprently they can make you work for an extra 40 minutes past the end of your shift without having to pay you

I know in the RAC if you work past your shift and your working the nest day whatever you work past your normal hours you go in that much later because say you were meant to work a 12 hour shift and you do 13, they have to give you a 12 hour break between shifts
So if you start at 7 am to 7pm and worked until 8pm you go into work at 8am-7pm the nest day to get your 12 hour rest IIRC
