Providing it doesnt smoke, and doesnt make any nasty noises, and pulls cleanly up through the revs, not really much you need to check mate, the engines are the one bit that (if serviced properly and not badly modified) dont tend to give any problems.

The wide wheel cars tend to much the diff pin, but its not very easy to check that, as its an engine out job to look at it properly!
