my xr2 has the same problem,just coming back down through the box,quite loud,but mine has been like it for nearly 2 years its got a bit worse over time but i still drive it everyday,ive got a good spare box in the garage just in case,i just try not to come down through the gears hard,and if i do i just turn the stereo up,lol
Bein honest i do the same
....But ive heard stories of the box locking up and throwing the engine forward and smashing the rad :s
