On any of the ford leathers/vinlys(st,rs focus,cossys)...forget hide foods! the leather wont absorb it because of the poor quality of leather, all your be doing is wipeing it around the surface leaving a slight shine that attracts the dirt...and thats what kills leather seats, dirt!

all i use on my focus rs which i've trimmed in bentley baluga black napa leather and blue alcantara is a product called G850, 1 part cleaner 10parts warm water and just clean it!

it will bring leather back to it's "factory spec"

I also use this product to wash and degrease seat before i re-colour them and the amount of shit that comes of them is unreal! the seats that have been "treated" with this and that will hold twise the amount of dirt!

Just to point out boys and girls...tanners used to use a solvent based paint to dye the leather which keeped the leather pourous..hide foods made a difference back then but like spray paints used on cars it was changed at a certain year for health and safety reasons, water base dyes leave a solid top coat...hence the product not soaking in!

Only my 2 pences worth tho!
