Hi thee sounds to me like you have got the ford setup with an amp and the wires you can see are data wires feeding a sperate amp. Only way to sort it is get a new lead and standard ford stereo or trace the grey flat cable back to the standard amp and the speaker outputs are plugged into the amp usually with white and trace colors. You can extend the wires or try to make it reach the new head set. hope this helps
