re: unbolting the box first, and then the bellhousing afterwards - I can't see why not
i was just thinking of the rear movement space as the whole shaft would have to come out past the clutch housing so i would have thought the engine would have to lean down to clear the tunnel, but not sure so will go for the whole thing off as i need to do clutch as well anyway and the spigot bearing, gonna do them all while its off to be safe
