Same scenario as my boss. He was up in the Highlands and a Transit came round the corner and twatted him.

Wrote off his 55 reg Terrano. Went to chek his docs and noticed it's 1st MOT was due 3mths previous.

Insurance just said if it was deemed by the asessor to be in a roadworthy condition then he would be deducted £50 to cover the MOT from his settlement.

He was with Direct Line but Insurance payout was from the Transits INsurance as he was liable. Would this have made the difference?

Back on topic - the boy is a complete tool for thinking he's cool doing this to inure a fucking Tigra!!
