I am thinking mk5 diesel box? does this fit. Whats the deal with mtx75 boxes? are they stronger than ib5? let me know your thoughts....

Hi,diesel boxes are no stronger,i had exact same prob in my mk3 turbo i used a 92 casing,which the bigger bearings are used,ie input shaft,main shaft and one side of the diff,then u need to have the ib5 bearing pressed on to the non ground bc rst main shaft this worked for me untill i sold it on was holding 242hp and 270lbft failing that a chap in performance ford mag calls himself "gears" (01704535760)he will help you out as he did with me
