that rattle is very characterisitc of the 4x4 boxes used. my 30Kmile saph did it all the time, and walking doen the street the other day heard the same noise - turned round to see a 4x4 saph - my escos also sounded like this before the box was reconned - maybe worth changing the oil in the box to see if this helps first
