I need a new tripod for my camera

I have 2 already, but they are cheapy ones and there is far too much play in the neck and headstock and once the camera is mounted this play is amplified by the weight of the long lens thus making it difficult to make it stay steady and thus rendering pictures slightly blurred.

Can anyone reccomend a good tripod that isn't going to cost the earth - Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying for the right bit of kit, but don't want to spend hundreds
