Hi Guys!

I am getting some strange noises coming from the engine bay of my Probe. It sounds like my car is a tractor! It is a ticking type noise like something inside is loose. It is there at idle and when you are cruising but it gets louder when you are decelerating using the engine. I have had something similar to this in a different ford and it turned out to be loose tappets and rattling push-rods. However I have heard that Probes have a tendency to make timing chain noises. Do you have any thoughts at to what it might be? How much it might cost to fix? Any help would be appreciated!
