Well my incident with EA forced me into adverse poverty so I had to slum it and bought a Porsche 996 TT (911 Turbo exactly the same as Porkie's). In the 3 years since Harvey built my replacement EA 0 bhp engine, I only ever briefly drove it on full boost once. I just totally lost all confidence and used to drive like Mr Bean. I used to drive Mike Rainbird mad as I drove it like a total fanny but I was just waiting for and expecting it to go pop as every time I thought about caning it, I just relived the nightmare of the two exploded EA engines.

Ask Stavros how I used to drive that car many years ago (pre EA), I'm sure he'd say it was as close to driving a tarmac rally stage on B-Roads as you could ever get.

So I thought a fresh start with a nice reliable 450bhp german supercar would return my confidence and it indeed has, I drive it like I've stole it being chased by bad men in a Corvette and regularly do 175mph (on wide, safe, dry private roads of course Mr Plod!).

I know Harveys engine was good as the new owner regularly rings me laughing and shaking to tell me there is brown steam coming from his pants, its just a shame that I used to have the same hot excrement vapour but mine was from worry it would go bang again.
