HI, if low on fuel.pump can sound strange(gurgle sort of sound)otherwise
Could be air in the system, bleed off through cold start valve union, or at metering unit head,and use fresh fuel, as old fuel can go off ,causing starting problems,careful when bleeding air off with fuel spraying about,?
normally car does'nt want to start with air in sytem, so work it out for your
self on the symtoms,
