^^ Well they dont really do they, yes they keep the road wheel's position in the arch correct like the standard sierra front roll bar does but comp struts dont control body roll like a arb would. If you can fail any car for having no roll bar then you should be able in theory to fail a car with comp struts fitted in their place.
