Awesome looking engine, some neat touches although to be fair I don't have a clue what you gain from using certain items.
That is however one of the most powerful Cosworth engines in the world, more powerful than any MAD engine off gas but I do agree that Rods old engine did do some miles where as that probably did 1 mile before it grenaded itself into a million pieces.

MAD is not trying to build a Powerfull engine as such, the brief is full boost below 4.4k. We have not opened up the ports from 26mm & our exhaust cam is mild but dont be surprised if we see 850bhp & full boost at 4.4k.
Our rev limit is a road sensible 8.4k & we need to pull that in 5th to reach 220mph, our aims are different, mines is to push the Topspeed record as near to that 220 as possible in a car that I can drive to the event & get back home & take in the shopping along the way, so please dont compare what im trying to achieve with what Jems is trying to do it aint the same. Both top of the pile at what they are built for I suggest.
Love the detail in that Jems engine, now thats better than mine for sure
