I have a bricklayer coming tomorrow to do some work for me. I've started off my extension wall and it's all laid out and have done the first few rows so all the door positions etc are already started and have laid my damp proof course. All he has to do is continue to build up the pattern. There are a few corners etc but it's fairly straight forward.

I have approx 75 blocks, 4 bags of cement and 3/4 yard bag of sand left.

Will he get through this in one day? How many blocks wld a typical brickie lay in a day. He's charging me £100 for the days work and my mate will be the labourer.
