This is not true, the very fact that that you have to have a specific dump valve proves that there is a problem with them on this management.
Upon idle the vacuum will attempt to open the dump valve on a RST this is fact. In order to resolve this issue specific dump valves had to be made.
The right dump valve you mention is a bodge to over come this.

I run over 20 PSI without a dump valve and have no problems, I do not consider my car to be unresponsive
