A friend of mine has just bought a fiesta off a bloke he used to work with and he's been having abit of trouble getting a new log book as the previous owner lost it he's sent off the form to the dvla but he aint heard anything back yet.
He sent the reg to one off them history checking people after he seen it on the tv and it came back saying that the car had been written off in a cat C the cars been off the road for nearly 3 years and at some point this supposed damage has been repaired as weve had a look over the car theres no creases in the floor plan or roof and all the panel gaps are the same.
The question is though is he going to have trouble getting the log book if its been written off ? ive not come across this with any of my previous cars so i aint got a clue how it all works Cheers for reading my essay lol and thanks for your help in advance
