right guys and gals. when i specced and built my engine i bought my upgraded raidator and chargecooler from rad tec who are local to me good product. now when the car was mapped it made 285 bhp but ric wood told me the car is still running too warm when pushed despite the upgrades. he said 300 is possible with lower temps from a big front mount intercooler and his mapping is bang on. my scangauge records normal temps of 104 its been upto 112. now when a front mount intercooler gets fitted you have to scrap the airbox and fit an induction kit, correst me if im wrong? im apprehensive because of the whole heatsoak thing. some people fit group a cossie cones and fit them up top. anyone offer any advise on the better option or has anyone got it done?
