Recently had a cleanup of my desktop/files etc.. run a few adware scans and virus scans too.

Anyway, since then, everytime i try to rename a file - image file, excell spreadsheet, word docs etc etc... it pops up with a warning

"If you change a filename extension it may become unusable"

Never done this before, what have i deleted/changed settings for?

Pain in the arse.
