Unless very low mileage I too would change the clutch, I don't know the garage you are using, but some dodgy ones might deliberately contaminate the clutch with oil so that you will be back in a few months for one, but thankfully there are not many like this now.
What part of norfolkshire are you in ?
I'm still confused about driveshaft cracked so it leaked oil, do you mean gearbox casing ?, as driveshaft very substantial.
