Just what I was thinking, how long has the engine been sat? My car doesn't get used very often so on start up for the first minute or 2 my lifters are noisy but my car does sit for weeks on end without being started. Get it warm and it should go away.
i've changed the lifter's as i have lots of spares and it's still the same
