common problem, but when you put key in you keep pushing in while turning it will allways work, also helps to take the slack of the steering lock, mine used to do it once your used to it it never spins
I thought its like once its "gone" its gone kinda thing, and leaves you stranded? but you reckon it will STILL work?
mine works fine most the time, just the odd occasion where it will spin a few times
