Im thinking about buying a bike for local travelling (About 10 miles per day) as parking in the local areas has turned to shit and trying to park without paying £10 per day or so is not gonna happen!

So Ive decided to look into getting a bike as parking is free/easy in most places and traffic, etc would be good to avoid

I would love a GSXR-1000, but I dont have a licence and am not able to get one at present (Personal reasons).

So what can I get other than a hair dryer (Go ped) without a licence? Looking to spend no more than £3000 and would prefer it looking quite sporty.
