to be honest with you i have owned 5 rst and not one has ever run the temps as yours does mine have all been lower and at times i have hammered them and i mean hammered them and they never got that hot maybe to the o and thats about it around town
if you can get hold of another gauge or borrow someones clocks to see if it does the same and change temp switch ,this is what i would do as anythink over the n on guage is a concern as your only running 145 bhp and when it goes upto the 200 mark i bet the temps rise aswell as that turbo will run alot hotter with more boost like a bar
cant remember if you said anythink about your rad
but that might be the problem
i can only give my views on the situation you have but i would be worried if it was my car running about standard power now and i aint trying to scar you but dont get me wrong i have seen rst running around the o to n mark before but they where pushing 210/220 brake on sunny hot days racing about town but dropped to m on motorways
