No, I bought mine already on 2.1 - I just unlocked it an jailbroke it onto it's existing 2.1

Hence why I said ask on there as they know far more than me about upgrading etc...

Can't have been new tho if it was already jailbroken? Or do you mean new, THEN you jailbroke it?
