I thought all MSA approved race suits (Kart, Rally etc etc) had to be fire retardent !

My local dry cleaners were well on the ball when I had my suit cleaned as they had to send suit away for re-application of a fire retardent coating and even issued a certificate to prove coating had been added - all for £13 bargain

Back to topic of track day use of a suit etc

Wearing a kart or any race suit is a much better option than wearing a shell suit or tracky bottoms and a quickly melting nylon top that sticks to skin in the event of a fire
