No mate, leads and coilpack are original as far as I know!
Can I ask of the mechanical reason of what the coilpack could be the fault? Be interesting to know.
I thought if the coilpack was at fault it would misfire or something? I know it's not expensive, but it's £37 that might not 100% solve the problem.
I have heard of the faults on the Fiesta coilpacks though.

Air filter was changed by my local garage guy. I usually do services myself but he did the whole service cheaper than I could get the parts to do it myself so made sense. Should I buy a new filter? I attempted cleaning it but it didn't really do anything.

Thanks mate, I'll give sealing the washer jet a go.
But you saying about the bad starting due to water, it has trouble starting in all weathers. In fact sometimes in the rain it still starts first time, that's why I find it so confusing!
I'll give the pouring water over the jets a go, probably just re-seal them anyway to be safe.

Thanks for helpful replies, much more helpful than I've had previously on other forums.
