Our camera which does get used quite a lot has decided to pack in, when taking photos outside, looking through the viewfinder its perfect, take the shot and its just a bright white screen.
Take a photo inside and it works, but is massively overexposed, even in the dark with the flash off.
I presume the lens has gone and if so how much would it roughly cost to get a replacement, its not under warranty and finding it quite difficult to even find anywhere to ask about fixing it.
Its a Casio Exilim zx-500 and its just over 3yrs old
Obviously the price of the camera has come down massively now anyway so it may be cheaper to replace? i dont know a thing about the cost of things so i thought i would ask on here
