We are, and have been, working hard on the 'tin tops' as this is where TA originated from and unfortunately it's very hard to accommodate the open wheel guys within TA presently. Of course I could say yeah let em in, lets cram em on track and earn a few quid from the entries but thats not the way to do it and not where we are coming from. We have had some spaces this year (due to people not being able to make it for whatever reasons) and could have quite easily took there money but thats not morally correct or right for the Series.

It was a very hard decision to not have them run with us from 07 but it had to happen due to our commitment to the tin tops that are a 100% of our part of the street scene. They were not dropped because they were too quick etc. etc., it was purely commercial and not political. I made a few good mates in the open wheelers, especially Duncan Cowper, but at this stage its just impossible to not only adminster these guys but to fit them into the class structures. TA Club especially has gone through major growth and requires changes to it now and can you imagine if we had open wheelers within this as well, then I definetly wouldnt get a good nights sleep I reckon

There are awesome cars within the open wheeler scene as well as great personalities and we would LOVE to have them in for the fun reasons alone.

As mentioned it was a commercial decision and not political and one day I hope to be able to offer these guys TA but first we have to get the formats and structures right otherwise we could have a few too many unhappy people on our hands from tin tops and open wheelers.
